Responsibilities
- Rapidly design, develop and test highly reliable electronics for rockets and spacecraft
- Challenge assumptions and learn new design approaches
- Drive component selection, analysis, schematic capture, prototyping, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing and test
- Create qualification testing campaigns and exercise your designs to their limits in our space simulation laboratories
- Partner with an inter-disciplinary team, experts in software, firmware, mechanical, layout, environments, integration, harnessing, test, manufacturing and production
- Get creative - hands-on debugging of the unexpected via the use of laboratory test equipment, custom instrumentation and testing setups
- Model and simulate circuit designs for analysis and performance
- De-rating analysis and design for ease of manufacture and reliability
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of professional experience manufacturing wire harnesses in commercial, automotive, or aerospace industry
- 2+ years of professional experience using electronics equipment (e.g. programmable power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- 2+ years of professional experience using basic mechanical and/or electronics hand tools
Prefered Skills and Experience
- Associate degree
- 6+ years of professional experience with wire harnesses and/or electronics equipment
